Game 27, 28, 29: Sweepin' As

The Rangers took care of the Athletics this week. This is what happens when the Rangers pitching staff hits the A's shaky (dormant?) offense. But, how many folks expect Chavez to keep at 587 OPS throughout the entire season? Come on.

Rogers pitched really, really well with 8 shutout innings. Cordero in that game gave up the only two runs; which is sort of scary.

Young pitched okay for five and two-thirds on Tuesday. But, the Athletics starter (Saarloos) and the bullpen (Duchscherer) gave it up.

Chan Ho had his worst performance, but that was equalled by Haren's ugly performance which basically let the Rangers feast and parade their way to 16 runs. Don't look now (okay do), but Teixeira now has 8 HRs on the season. Neat-o.

Rangers had the day off today. Hopefully, they didn't watch the Mavs game. What an ugly and awful game. Win it at home on Saturday, Mavs!
