Game 8: Why isn't Adrian Gonzalez starting all the time?

Gonzalez seems to have an uncanny knack for fouling off lots of pitches. He worked a HR on a count that was originally 0-2 and kept waiting for his pitch. Also had a nice 2B later on. Nice. Buck needs to work him into the starting lineup for every game.

Blalock also had a nice slap single.

Alas, it wasn't enough.

Young looked really poor - he probably deserves a demotion so he can figure out what's going on and come back soon...

I also have serious concerns that Dickey just can't handle it at the major league level. Too bad Buck seems to be blinded linke Torre about pitchers: some of them are 'his' guys and some of them aren't. Eek.
