Game 3: Signs of things to come.

I wasn't able to post last night since the network connection from my apartment is spotty. Grr.

Anyhow, another good game. For a time there, the Rangers looked like they were going to be blown out as Young was shaky. However, things settled down and they clawed back - eventually forcing the Angels to win it in the bottom of the ninth.

Gonzalez finally got the start at DH last night, and he had a terrific 15 or so pitch at-bat against Lackey. Until then, Lackey was on cruise control; but, after the Gonzalez AB, he just melted.

Soriano continued his "poor defense, great offense" strategy. Pfft.

Even though they are 1-2, I think there's reason for optimism.

Bring on the Mariners.
